Great advice Wendy. I glad you brought this up on this timely basis. Bullying is something that is always there in the scheme of things. Like you said, being pro-active is the way to go. It is difficult to notice sometimes because of the age of the child, their personality, etc. Reading the signs of your child does take that gut feeling. Growing up my daughter as a single mom I acted on my gut feelings all the time and it never let me down.
Thank you for posting this Wendy.
Blessings,
Donna

Great article Wendy! Funny how I was JUST helping a good friend of mine with a relationship issue. I told him specifically that he needs to approach the situation with good communication between him and the other party. He told me last night that everything is more clear between the two and thanked me for it.

It really boils down to having a good line of communication between any relationship be it with your friend, spouse, children, or neighbor.

Thanks for reminding me in this article that we are the leader's in the eyes of our children and that effective listening is key especially when it comes to keeping a good, open, and honest relationship with our kids.

Keep rollin' with the great content Wendy!

Wendy,
Good description of how mixed messages can be sent out there. Mindset and self worth are so key to creating a space where abundance comes in. Feeling as if you don't deserve something is a sure set-up for disappointment. It does come from your heart and soul, not your head.

Unfortunately, many want a quick fix, a quick result. Those are not areas that we have control over. It will all happen in it's own time. Pushing against that is futile. Getting out of the way is a great saying! It works, too.

Hi Wendy!

This is great information. For the last 15+ years I've been self-employed and the businesses I owned included a real estate and mortgage company. We had a ton of employees a a pretty decent sized operation. So when the market collapsed and we ended up closing down our companies and it really shook things up in my life. I found myself wondering "if this is not my purpose - then what is?" I had been on that roller coaster ride for so long that when it stopped - I wasn't sure what my next move was!

I think it's normal to go through life and find ourselves trying to figure out what our purpose is in life. And then sometimes realizing that the plan that we have for ourselves may not be the plan that was created for us! I have just learned that it's best to sit back, enjoy the ride and just try to "live in the moment". I'm enjoying the freedom of learning and growing and being at peace with my what has taken place in my past.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Ruth for your comments. I agree it would be better to turn off the TV, read, get active, use our imaginations, get creative, doing something for someone less fortunate, teach our children positive action, bring the "us" back into family. Oh - but a perfect world we could attract!
