When I found myself an unemployed, single mother of two young children without a home, I struggled to determine my worth.   I needed an income fast, and I had a strong desire to be a stay-at-home mom, especially during the emotional time after divorce.  My experience, and expertise was in bookkeeping, although my passion was not.  I did what I felt I needed to do, at that time, and began a business of my own.  Albeit, a stressful business, but for the next four years I was available for my children when they needed me most.  I began my day by getting the kids off to school, and then would visit my clients.  When my kids were done school, I would be home working in my office waiting for them.  Depending on their activities for the day I would be there for them, or be working in the office not more than an ear shot away.  In the evenings, after they were in bed, I would work in the office until late, doing necessary paper work.

When the kids were ill, needed a parent volunteer for school, or driven to sporting events, I was there.  It was ideal, and the work wasn’t particularly satisfying, but it paid the bills.  That was 25 years ago, when the internet was only a thought.

Today there is a whole realm of amazing opportunities in every niche that has a need.  If you desire it, you can create it.  If you dream it, you can build it.  If you are passionate, enthusiastic and creative you will be hugely successful!

You only need to manifest the vision!

A little over a year ago I found myself in a similar situation as when I became a single parent.  The direct sales company I had established myself with as a reputable business woman, went bankrupt.  My husband was having some health issues, and nearing retirement and we had my aging mother with dementia living with us.  I felt lost. The business I had built was dependent on the company and I had no control. This was a lesson for me, and I no longer wanted to be an “employee”, I wanted to be my own boss, but doing what?  I knew I no longer wanted to work with numbers, although I had plenty of experience in accounting.  I no longer wanted to do shift work, especially 12 hour shifts, working in health care, working too hard for too little. But, what could I do?  I felt the need to work at home, be there for my mother and husband, rather than my kids who were now competent adults.

I don’t know how, I don’t know really why, but I do know the law of attraction attracted “The Perfect Biz Finder” course to me.
