Mind Maps and Brainstorming

I love that word “BRAINSTORMING”.

Our minds collect so many thoughts in a day and the clutter that filters in can feel like your brain is storming all the time.

The actual “act” of brainstorming, for me, is to take those thoughts that are rattling around in my head and formulate them into specific words or phrases that I put down on paper.  In the process of formulating the thoughts and writing them down a transition takes place that brings a perspective to why I may be feeling over whelmed.

Once the thoughts are on paper in a format of mind mapping (a collection of categories). I can then organize my thoughts so I know which ones require immediate focus.

Aha, and the law of attraction is present! The thoughts we focus upon, which we give emotion to, attract to us that which we are thinking about.  Like a magnet! If we are focusing on a particular thought that produces a negative feeling, then we will attract more negativity towards us.

Take the thoughts that consume many people’s minds who are feeling the “lack” of enough money.  Paying the bills can become a daunting task that you feel anger, regret, animosity about.  As the law of attraction goes, with this mindset you will continue to attract more struggle in receiving, gaining or having enough money.  However, if you feel gratitude, happiness and joy about the ability to have a shirt on your back, a roof over your head, and food in your belly with love in your heart, then you shall continue to receive and have an abundance of all you desire.

Think of it this way. I just don’t earn enough to pay all these bills. The focus is on not enough money. The emotion is negative,  and likely depressing. Whereas, I have so much more than I need and will clean the house today giving my appreciation for the abundance of “things” I have, and perhaps organize the items I do not need to give to someone who may be lacking.

In which area of you life are you going to place your focus today?  Take that focus and give appreciation that you have it. If you don’t have it, why are you focusing upon it? Focus on where your attention could be more beneficial to increase what it is you desire.  If I were to _______, I would earn enough to pay the extra bills, or I don’t need such and such therefor I will dispose of it so I no longer place any focus upon it.

Do some brainstorming with what it is you want to focus upon, prioritize your list, and start with focusing on the most important item, until you complete the task, then give gratitude for your efforts, celebrate your success, and move on to the next item. I am sure you will discover you accomplish far more in less time.

We control our own destinies. What that consists of is solely up to you. Take that responsibility and rejoice in your freedom.

Practice this, and come back to let me know your accomplishments. If you get stuck, or need more clarification opt-in for my 30 minute consultation and we will work together on the process.

Have a Great Day!
